Richard was a 1939 graduate of Calvert High School and was voted by his peers for the May Crowning. He managed and owned Puffenberger Floor Coverings. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, past Grand Knight of the Tiffin Knights of Columbus, where he was an honorary life member and was a board member and officer of St. Joseph Federal Credit Union for 37 years. He was also a member of the Serra Club of Tiffin and Holy Name Society. He delivered Mercy Hospital Mobile Meals as a volunteer and volunteered at St. Francis Home. He was an avid woodworker, doing much of the craftwork for the Josephines.

Dorothy was a 1938 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. She was an outstanding student excelling in math and voted by her peers for May Crowning. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and volunteered in the St. Joseph School library for many years while her children attended there. She was an active member of the Josephine's and the Rosary Altar Society. She served as a volunteer for the Mercy Hospital Mobile Meals program and at the St. Francis Ministries Gift Shop.
Dorothy served as the bookkeeper and a part-time salesperson for the family business, Puffenberger Floor Coverings. She loved to play cards with family and friends and formed a formidable euchre team with her husband Richard. Later, as a nearly ten-year resident of Friedman Village, she became a marathon Rummikub player. Nothing though was more important to Dorothy than family.

.A native of Fremont, Mr. Kuntz was born May 27, 1915, the son of Dr. Clarence and Catherine Decker Kuntz.
He had been active in the Campfire Girls and the Xenia-Greene County YMCA. He was also a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the Xenia Elks. He served in World War I, being discharged as a major.
The brothers began Kuntz Brothers Potato Chips business in 1950 at 95 Hill St., where it continued, with the chips being distributed in five counties. Mr. Kuntz, also formerly employed as a civilian at Wright-Patterson AFB.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Catherine Grandpre Kuntz, whom he married Nov. 2, 1968, three daughters, Mrs. Steve (Barbara) McPherson of Dayton, Mrs. Michael (Debra) Knisley of Xenia, and Mrs. Gary (Carolyn) Perkins of Columbus; a granddaughter, Michelle Knisley of Xenia; six stepchildren; Mrs. Cathy Setsuda of Detroit, Patrick Spicer of Xenia, Miss Donna Spicer of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Mary, Denise and Connie Spicer, at home; two brothers, Jack of Xenia and Clarence Kuntz of Philadelphia, Pa. and two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Crockett of Cincinnati and Mrs. Mary Linn of Cleveland.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St. with the Rev. Louis Grandpre of Sacred Heart Seminary, Detroit, in charge.
Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery and friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Tuesday with the rosary to be recited at 8:30 p.m.
