Loyd Martin Kirby passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at age 69 after 17 years of winning some major health battles. All of his life he loved to golf, fish and hunt. He leaves behind his wife, Peggy Kirby; three children, two stepchildren, six grandchildren, two brothers, a sister, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, a brother and a sister. Loyd left his remains to medical science. There will be no funeral services or memorials. Donations can be made in his memory to his favorite charity which is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148, or (800) 873-6983.
