General Notes: Husband - William D CREEGER
William enlisted in the United States Navy December 7, 1941 shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He served much of his time in the South Pacific during World War II. He met his wife, Beatrice while stationed at Bainbridge and soon after purchased a farm in Rising Sun, MD and started the Creeger Family Farm in 1952. William and Beatrice owned and operated a greenhouse which they called 'Hidden Valley'. William later managed the Creeger Home and Hardware Store for 12 years. Though William enjoyed farming and operating his small businesses, the thing that brought him the most joy and that he was most proud of was serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving father, a wonderful grandfather, and a great friend whose memory will be cherished. He will be missed dearly.
